Behind it is Church House, a purpose-built, church-owned, holiday bungalow adjoining the church hall, but with its own entrance from the church car park. A French door at the rear leads on to a patio and enclosed lawn area.

Poolewe is the perfect base for touring the Highlands, walking, Munro climbing, bird watching, golf, pony trekking, sea life cruises, or … just enjoying the peace and quiet. It lies at the head of Loch Ewe on the Wester Ross Coastal Trail, approximately 1½ hours north-west of Inverness.

There are two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) with fitted wardrobes; bathroom with shower over the bath; comfortably furnished sitting/dining room with colour TV, DVD player and radio/CD player.From here the French door leads to the patio and lawn with table and chairs. The fully fitted and well equipped kitchen has electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washer/drier. (There is also a washing line in garden). The house is well supplied with duvets, pillows, and bed linen, but does not include towels and tea towels. Night storage heating. Hair dryer provided. Tea/coffee and shortbread await your arrival. Clean bed linen provided each week if you are staying for longer than one week.

The village has a well-stocked village store/post office, coffee shop, hotel/restaurant, and an indoor heated swimming pool. The world-famous Inverewe Garden is within walking distance.
